Our
History

Dunleith Park district is A JOINT FEDERAL/STATE LAND & WATER CONSERVATION & OSLAD PROJECT. Dunleith Park District was organized in 1970. The park and original pool were completed in 1975 as part of a Federal Conservation Grant administered by the State of Illinois Department of Conservation.  In 2008, a new aquatic center opened with the help of an OSLAD Grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.  All facilities are maintained on a continuing basis through local tax dollars.

Dunleith Park District offers equal opportunities to all in regard to both recreation and employment.
